A small banner of Maethor set out from Gwingris into Eregion.
They discover a prisoner being held in one of the wooden stockades in the southern part of the region.
With a small diversion Thendryt and Hiril Faorie free the captive and withdraw to a wooded shelter
to allow the prisoner some respite.
The rescued prisoner is a soldier of Rohan, the son of one of the Horselords known to the Warband.
After a brief respite, food and water the small party moves off in the direction of Echad
Dunann to seek further aid.
