Meditating. Legs crossed, eyes shut. The sounds of the waterfall roaring oddly soothes this Elven male. His inner eye reflects onto the recent happening in his life, they firstly glance upon an Oath he has taken up. "So shall it be." His mind states plainly to him. That inner eye shifts to the next development, the first thing it sees is a beautiful, smiling, golden haired Hiril staring back lovingly. The Elf slowly smiles as his inner eye stays locked onto that scene. It reluctantly moves forward to another Hiril of golden hair. She looks similar to the Elf himself. A close relative, his sister, his muinthel. The inner eye falls upon her harp, it shifts its gaze downward to see it's own lute, they are playing in unison. The first time in many, many years. That scene slowly fade to another scene. The surroundings are the same. He sits on a wooden bridge, the waterfall roaring into the small river below. The atmosphere has a strange colouration, yet calming air too it. He is not alone in this scene. Yet another Hiril graces his presence, this one of short, black hair. She usually has a warm smile cutting her lips, this is not the case. She recants tales of darkness and losing. Though those feelings seem to fade, perhaps this singular male Elf had said proper reassuring words. However, that scene too, fades from his inner eye. Piercing greens eyes open like emeralds no longer hidden from thieves. Meditation is over. There are high expectations of him now. A new oath, a new duty. A new love, a new duty. A new bond, a new duty. An old friend, a new duty. He will not fail them. Before he removes himself from the wooden bridge, with the events still close to his inner eye and new weight on his heart, he still expresses elation for all the recent developments. The Elf reaches for some parchment in his pack and immediately scribes down musical notes on prewriten clefs. A tune to signify his love and for the expectations placed upon him. He feels this will not disappoint.
