Belegaran's journal, Fifteenth Entry - Northern-Bree part 1/2

*Nudges Lu a little to see if she is sleeping and quietly reaches into his bag for his journal and quill* Lu and I embarked on our journey to the Northern parts of Bree as I write in my journal, we left on Monday as I wrote in my entry prior to this and it has been quite the exciting trip so far you could say.. *sighs softly remembering all the bickering they have done so far* It all started on Monday – just before we would set out. Lu went off shopping earlier that day and I was beginning to get worried, as she took our time. Eventually Lu returned and showed this magnificent cloak that she bought, twirling around and such. I asked Lu for the price like I always do when she has bought a new product .The bickering began from that simple question “What is the price of that magnificent cloak Lu?”. Lu asked why I always wanted to know the prices and such, she also said that she deserved a treat – To which I fully agree with obviously. However Lu then made a remark that even a Hermit spends more coin then I do.. I do not spend much coin though a lone wandering Hermit cannot spend more then I, as I am not a miser! *frowns heavily at the thought of a Hermit spending more* I was in a Moody then, because Lu had to start another argument though I still gave a friendly expression I reckon when I asked Lu why she could not carry her own bags to the Horse and Cart outside, as she miscarried recently and there was no harm in asking I thought. Well I was mistaken as Lu snapped right at me when I asked her, saying she is not a workhorse. Well nor am I and yet I have to carry my own bags to the cart and goodness knows how many bags Lu usually brings on a trip. Lu began to make silly remarks that she could carry the bags, being a strong man and such.. I told her I do not complain when she sends me to the kitchen to cook a meal. To which she retorted that I had to have an answer on every single matter. Lu obviously made many snide remarks on our journey towards our camping spot, to which I retorted with sarcastic remarks as at that moment I really was a Moody Moo. Lu knew more of Northern Bree then I did so I handed the reins to her, though I daresay she had forgotten her way around those parts as well and stumbled there by luck. Our bickering did not stop there.. matter of fact our bickering started to increase and Lu started to act childish as she ruined my fire and therefore wasted a lot of energy. I decided I would ruin her fire also, thrice I ruined her fire and also mentioned I would throw her bag with dresses into the river after she threw my food bag into the river. Lu threatened me to knock me out then so I decided not to ruin her dresses. However I did decide to ruin Lu’s fourth fire to which I received a kick in my left leg. *goes red with embarrassment as he reflects on himself, destroying Lu’s campfires* Lu decided to walk towards a ruin on a hilltop which she spotted and I decided to follow her, good thing I did as shortly afterwards we were softening towards each and soon forgot all about our very long and hefty bickering we did. We started to talk about the past before we were courting, former partners and such... And I could not help but feel a little jealous at the thought, but perhaps I felt jealous because I regard my Lu as a very special and loving person. *sighs happily and the memory of the ruin on the hilltop pops into his mind* Before I finish my entry I should mention that I picked a flower which I shall press in my journal once we return home. However I should do that when Lu is out shopping or so. Also I shall finish this entry when Lu and I have returned from our journey. *laughs softly and gently closes his journal as he places his flower in between two pages.
