A Vision In A Season Of Change, Part 11

It was not long into the wild when Tahjun came across a patrol of Rohirrim. One of the men recognized Tahjun from The Gap and asked him for help. It appeared that brigands were causing mayhem in the area and taking goods. Tahjun agreed. He reared his horse and headed to the caves where they were last seen.

Tahjun used the shadows to step in. Apart of him felt at home in the darkness for what it offered him...solace. As he moved his senses screamed out at him and he knew what this meant...another vision was coming. He knew he had only moments before it would overwhelm him. Rage against the vision exploded within him.

Without second thought he had broke from the shadows and came from behind one of the brigands. He used an arrow from his quiver and thrust it through the back of the brigands neck to silence his vocal cords. He side stepped...bent his back to the ground so the other brigand did not see him from his peripheral vision...pulled another arrow from his quiver and quickly placed that one in his throat as well. Quickly he moved in the darkness, saw the leader, but he had body guards protecting him. Tahjun released his swords from their scabbards and ran right through the middle of them as his swords glittered in the darkness with speed...their heads dropped to the ground from behind him.

He had seconds before the vision owned him. The rage in him released and he leaped on the leader as he sung an ancient Noldor war chant under his breath. Tahjun thrust both his swords deep into his chest and twisted them to destroy all that once kept the brigand alive.

The vision came and Tahjun quickly got of his enemy...stumbled to the center of the cave as his hands looked for something to grasp on to but there was nothing. Consumed by rage he bent his body backwards and released a Noldor war cry that echoed through the halls of the now abandoned cave...accept for the hunter who had faded into the black...
