My tummy rumbles some more and my feet hurts even more. I swear, I've passed this way already! It's the same hilly slope and muddy tracks! Oh gosh, I hate this forest and I hate myself for coming here... Why couldn't I be an Inn-Keeper? Or a Farmer? Or even better yet, nothing at all! I've been here for ages now, from the looks of the passing sky from the day to the night, I've been here for roughly a day! That's too long for my liking!

At least the sky looks lovely, the stars twinkle beautifully and that fills me up with a tad of hope and even more hunger! At last, I run up the hill following the muddy slope therefore ignoring the pain of my feet. The wind brush into my head and face, it feels so lovely for a minute. When I came up the hill, I look all around to see if I could see any other paths or exits. Just trees, trees, trees and more trees! Then it seems to me for just a second that the trees moved a little bit. I blink then think it was my imagination. Then, a pain hit me then weariness then I realize, I haven't had a wink of sleep for ages! I try to push the feeling away but I can't! When I finally gave up, I went near a tree and slept.

When I woke up it was still night time, was it another night? If that is the case, I wasted a whole day sleeping! I stood up and groan still feeling tired but a lot more awake! My tummy rumbled loudly, I moan about food for a while then decided to find some. I went down the hill then went forwards into the trees. If I didn't notice anything about the trees, I notice them now. The trees seems to have came to live, I swears! A few them was choking me with branches and leaves, I barely escaped. At the end, a branch landed right into my belly which seemed to made me more hungry, then the branches snatched my shield and sword away from me. I can't protect meself now even if I had the strength!
I then took a breathe then jumped right through the bushes with prickly thorns and ended up on the other side. Most of the trees stopped but there was one strong tree of them all who was angry now at me. He was the tree that hurt my poor belly! He took my with his branches, tightened the grip ever so hard. Gosh! I'm not touching another tree again... Well if I live... The pain in my skin and itching came from his grip then with a growl the tree threw me over far into the air. With a splash, I landed and there a moment of luck seemed to have abandoned me... I screamed while I fell deeper and deeper into the river... I didn't know how to swim and well looks like I will never learn... Half drowning, on the top of my voice I screamed for help and sobbed. Then at that moment, my heart stopped and the water dragged me in.... Then a hand saved me, he dragged me by the collar and picked me up. He was a hobbit fellow! He dragged me back to his camp then I saw him closely.

He gave me food quickly noticing my tummy rumble loudly. The food tasted like... like... What words couldn't be described to tell the moment! I ate the roasted meat swiftly then gobbled up the taters and mushrooms with a few sips of ale (I've enough of water now!). At the end result, he bid me to go to sleep immediately that we would talk when I have rested... I didn't argue but before I slept, I took out my journal or diary as you call it, from the back inside pocket of my cape, it was dry! I took out a quill and wrote in it, wrote about what happened in Buckland and in the Old Forest till up to now. I have a feeling that somehow this haven't ended and that I won't be going home soon... After I wrote, I slept quietly into my lovely dreams...
