Khalis says, 'Just the two bowmasters then....'
Elisbeth says, 'and our Osilivren'
Khalis says, 'It will be just a short gathering as i know we did plenty of merriment last evening'
Elisbeth says, 'not to say that there cannot be two eves of merriment though'
Khalis looks to Osilivren as his face adopts a wondering look
Elisbeth grins widely at Khalis
Khalis says, 'Its with regards to Faorie.......she has been with us a little time now. And i think you aill all agree she has settled down well'
Khalis looks to those gathered
Faorie smiles, looking to Khalis.
Elisbeth nods in agreement to Khalis and smiles
Aewiel nods at this, smiling.
Tahjun nods with pride
Osilivren glances at Faorie.
Azgarzir says, 'Agreed'
Khalis says, 'Our Lord, Elrond has need of a small task but one which is to be done urgently'
Faorie nods and listens.
Khalis says, 'Well there are two but they are linked'
Azgarzir says, 'Oh?'
Khalis says, 'Long ago before we settled here in Imladris we had a library in Eregion and a School for Scholar'
Osilivren nods slowly.
Khalis says, 'When we left Eregion they were locked and sealed. But the wardings have been broken'
Osilivren frowns.
Faorie continues to listen.
Khalis says, 'Lord Elrond wishes you to enter both buidings and secure some books which he has discovered have been hidden there'
Elisbeth says, 'These are important texts that should not be destroyed if we can prevent it'
Khalis says, 'In the School in the highest chamber there is a casket hidden behind an plinth'
Khalis says, 'and in the Library they are hidden in the statue in the garden'
Khalis says, 'I have all these details written down for you as well'
Faorie nods.
Khalis says, 'I would recommend you take at least one, maybe two trained Maethor with you.'
Elisbeth says, 'You will need to take companions to aid you....two should suffice'
Faorie understands and nods.
Khalis smiles with a gentle nod
Nelnardis looks to Faorie.
Faorie says, 'I will be sure to tend to this task with care and haste.'
You say, 'You have my bow, friend.'
Faorie smiles to Nelnardis.
Khalis says, 'Also we need to find Moryadel and help him at complete his task'
Elisbeth nods frowning slightly
Osilivren mumbles something about Moryadel.
Elisbeth says, 'Hopefully she will have learny the error of trying to fight alone'
Khalis says, 'Their report said they failed to find the caverns'
Khalis says, 'We do not want Moryadels moral to suffer for her failure'
Faorie nods and looks about.
Osilivren says, 'If I may, her efforts were not entirely in vain'
Nelnardis mutters. 'At least she is alright.'
Khalis says, 'How so?'
Aewiel looks curiously to Osilivren
Osilivren says, 'The caves, and what lay in them....'
Elisbeth looks at Osilivren
Osilivren says, 'Had a search party not been deployed..'
Khalis says, 'If there is movement around the diseased ancient cairn then we must also see to the rest'
Osilivren nods slowly.
Osilivren says, 'It may not have been what we sought to find, but find it we did'
Khalis says, 'Do you know of the other ancient cairns Osilivren?'
Khalis looks at Osilivren wondering
Osilivren shakes his head slightly.
Khalis looks to all the Maethor excluding the Officers
Osilivren says, 'My travels have not taken me there...as of yet'
Khalis says, 'There is a detailed report about them, it might be worth reading when you get time. We need to revisit them all'
Osilivren nods at the captain.
Khalis says, 'Tagos, Azgarzir have you anything to say?'
Tagos says, 'Not at this time'
Azgarzir says, 'On this subject? No.'
Khalis says, 'On any subject Azgarzir my friend'
Azgarzir says, 'In that case, yes. I would ask a favour of Nelnardis.'
Faorie looks to Azgarzir, then to Nelnardis.
Nelnardis looks to Azgarzir.
Azgarzir says, 'Nelnardis, I sent you a rune. Having seen the progress of Faorie, I believe this would be of more use in her hands. Would you pass it on for me please? It may be of use in her task.'
Nelnardis nods.
Faorie looks to the two.
You say, 'Certainly, I shall retrieve it for Faorie later.'
Azgarzir says, 'Thank you. Faorie, if you have any questions regarding the rune, please ask.'
Nelnardis smiles to Faorie.
Faorie says, 'Thank you, my friend. I will make proper use of it.'
Faorie smiles.
Elisbeth says, 'Has anyone any other news to report?'
Faorie looks about.
Nelnardis opens her mouth as if to say something but thinks better of it.
Elisbeth looks across to Nelnardis seeing her hesitate
Elisbeth says, 'Nelnardis?'
Tagos says, 'A firece winter grips the wilds of Rohan and aid is required, but some of you know that'
Elisbeth nods across to Tagos
Osilivren looks at Tagos.
Osilivren says, 'Rohan?'
Osilivren frowns.
Elisbeth says, 'aye Khalis and myself journeyed briefly to scout the region...we will return shortly'
Tagos says, 'The lands of the Horse Lords in the shadow of Saruman'
Nelnardis lets the attention turn to Tagos.
Osilivren says, 'yes, but I was not aware they would take kindly on strangers in their lands'
Tahjun says, 'Must earn their trust'
Tagos says, 'You are misinformed. Enemy of thine enemy and the like'
Azgarzir says, 'They are desperate, and are looking on strangers more kindly than is usual.'
Osilivren says, 'Oh? Then there is hope for them, still'
Azgarzir says, 'They are a good folk, but mistrust of people they do not know has served them well in the past. Only their pressing need forces them to change, but change they have.'
Osilivren says, 'Good folk..I would aruge, depending on what time of the day you pay them visit'
Tahjun says, 'We help them solve their riddle of their land and our relations between them may improve. Which could extend our gracious Lord Elrond's influence.'
Elisbeth nods in agreement
Azgarzir says, 'The eldar are strange to them, and their folk tales are full of mystery and suspicion of the fair folk.'
Osilivren says, 'An understatement...'
Osilivren says, 'Well, it has been a few years since I last travelled through their lands...'
Osilivren smiles.
Azgarzir says, 'You should do so again then Osilivren, and show them that their fears are groundless. I am sure you will change their minds, however stubborn.'
Osilivren chuckles at Azgarzir.
Khalis says, 'There were some who came past our borders, they were ill at ease and a little hostile to our scouts'
Tagos says, 'They were a sorry bunch and now little more than a hinderance I warrant.'
Azgarzir says, 'Far from home and fearful. The world is wider than many of them knew or could imagine. That is never easy to accept.'
Elisbeth says, 'Indeed Azgarzir, fear can make people seem what they not normally are'
Osilivren says, 'They have been living in fear for some time, then'
Osilivren ponders something.
