Entry 63, Winter

My sister is back with news. It appears she has found herself a man, and they are getting married. Bendiel Lokhart I think his name was. A wealthy trader from Gondor. The wedding will be in Combe and it will be small. His parents and brothers, and me, my sister, and old father. I wish I knew more about this Lokhart person...this came rather suddenly, for everyone it seems. My sister has known him for several months and she seems happy...very. And I suppose I should be happy for her as well. I will do my best. Lokhart said that we could move with them to Gondor as well, but I dont know. Father does not seem to care anymore, after mum died. Perhaps getting away from it all would do him good. I am sure it would as a matter of fact. But me... I do not know if that is what I wish. I will have to give it some serious thought these next few days.
