Entry 61, Winter

A year has passed since my adventure with some of Middle-Earth's true heroes. A year of hardwork and hard times. My mother died six months ago, today. She was an old lady, but we all miss her, my father especially. Since my sister left to get educated in Bree-town of all places, well, it has just been me and my father, and he has grown more quiet as of late. I suspect because of the death of my mother. She was the bright light in our family. The hunting has not been as productive lately either. I do not know if it is just bad luck... or if it is me. I find myself looking up towards the stars as of late. I have been travelling towards the outskirts of Bree-town and camping outside of it, looking at the lights coming from within, listening to the sounds. My focus has drifted away from hunting, but I do not think my father has noticed, well I have no way of telling really, as he hardly speaks to me anymore.
