Belegaran's journal, Twelfth entry

A few weeks has passed since I last wrote in my journal, I am now fully recovered from a foot injury – which was none of my own doing I might add, but because Lu left a nappy right behind my chair, which I could not see *shakes his head at the thought of Lu calling him clumsy*. Everything has been going well though with our family and there is much reason for excitement indeed! This Saturday will mark our very first wedding anniversary and I have been secretly been working on the gifts that Lu has been hinting at for the last six months. I have secretly been practicing my dance moves in our work cottage since my right foot started to show signs of healing, though I did not tell Lu obviously, so she will be in for a surprise hopefully *sighs happily as he daydreams about their anniversary* Also Yule is nearly upon us, Ethelfrith and I spent a few days working on a gift for our babies and I am very pleased with the outcome and I hope Lu and the babies will agree with that. I also bought Lu a gift for Yule, so she cannot say that I have neglected her for Yule tide. *tries not to laugh too loudly in case Lu comes walking upstairs and goes to hide his journal underneath the bed*
