Ah.. my old name.. it was ‘The Blind Hand’... Interesting story behind that.. Not having to do with Loghain this time.

So, I was in ‘The Leaky Bandit’ one night, playing card games with some of the other thieves. Each of them had a nickname ‘Ace’, ‘Mole’, ‘Brush’ all these different names, all depending on the thief and what they have accomplished.. Some had better one’s like ‘The Shadow’ or ‘Blood Rayne’.. ‘Blood Rayne’ being Loghain’s. Anyway, I was busy playing cards and suddenly one of them called me out on cheating. So I said I’d play a hand blind, and he seemed oddly content with that. I pulled my mask over my usable eye, yet kept my unusable one clear, as a joke. I took my dealt hand and pretended to look at it with my eye. I placed it down, and didn’t refresh my cards; I just stayed with that hand. Then when it was time for bets, I went all in. They all were surprised, but Loghain was laughing, since he figured I had a trick up my sleeve.. And I let him think that to this day. As we were about to show, I took my hood down and stared at my pair of aces... then I looked at the others and they all played pairs of two’s and three’s... I played mine, took my winnings and cashed in. After I came back everyone looked at me and said “There he is! ‘The Blind Hand’!” I grinned? I guess, I wasn’t sure how to feel, Loghain liked it, so did ‘Boss-man’. So from that day on I took the name and wore it with pride.. ‘The Blind Hand’... Although Loghain still kept calling me ‘Blindy’. I didn’t mind, I was content with this... I thought I was, at least.
