Harugrim is a tall man, of rugged appearance. His hair is of bright blonde colour, and eyes of a light green. His beard is scruffy and his hair greasy and poorly cut.

His skin bears the marks of his past and has dirt stains. He smells of sweat, leather, and dried blood of enemies, or recently slaughtered meat for the Inn he currently works at.

His chainmail contains rusty links and his axe by his side is plain and seems to have seen many fights. The leather he wears is battered, and has been repaired provisionally many times. His boots  look worn out and a dagger is poorly attached to his right. On his back, he wears a pattched fur-cloak, but has also been seen wearing a plain grey hooded cloak of poor quality.

When working at the Inn he normally wears bad fitting, dirt stained clothes, yet always has a dagger at hand.

When approached he is rather reticent, though his eyes are ever wary.
