Eofeole had been marching carefully through a marsh, where he stepped in puddles every now and then. He had no idea where he was, or where he was heading but that did not bother him. His objective was to make his way out of the bog for that day but he stumbled upon and enemy of his people, a Wildman, Dulanding who was hewing the skull of an Goblin within the Marsh with his axe.

Eofeole knew nothing about this man or where he had come from. At first he seemed to admire the man's skill with an axe so he walked up to him and greeted him as an Eorling, "Westu hal" He said. The wildman cackled and began pacing about slowly as he eyed Eofeole. Then suddenly he tossed a dagger at Eofeole, which Eofeole had just bashed away with his shield however the Wildman came sending his axe forward at Eofeole's head. Bearing only a spear in his right hand, shield in his left and another spear on his back. He stepped back to evade that axe then returned by sending his spear towards the Wildman's ribs. Nimble he was, he managed to step out of a direct strike of the spear's head, however it grazed his side.
The Wildman dipped low and tried to send his axe at Eofeole's side, but the battle hardy Rohir just would not have it. He kept his movements to face the Wildman's direction and with that he fiercely pressed much of his weight and force to his shield arm, making his forward, out of the axe's reach he bashed at the Wildmen. The man fell to the ground but quickly again got back up, using his nimble movements once more. He paced backwards and picked up his dagger.
The Two men began to have a stare off. The wildman stared grimly and angrily at Eofeole, "Come on!" He cried out at Eofeole as he spat into the mud.
"Today Wildman, you shall lie upon the dirt on this marsh!"
"Says the coward behind a wall of steel!" The Dunlander laughed. "I'll drop your pathetic carcass inside the moving mud! Neither will your teeth or bones be found, Horseman!"
Eofeole then took his spear and lunged it at the man. Quickly the dunlander widened his eyes and stepped out of the spear's path, however looking back ahead of him, he saw that Eofeole had already just covered the distance between them and pierced his second spear through the Wildman's chest. With a grasp at the spear and gasp, life slowly began to slip away from him as he dropped his weapons to the mud. Eofele kicked the Wildman off of his spear, leaving him on the ground, almost lifeless.
A dwarf who seemed to be watching from somewhere within the Marsh came walking up and stooped at the dying man, he shakes his head and added, "Why did you kill him? He could make a fine slave in my mines!" The Wildman muttered something in his own tongue. It was then when Eofeole sent his spear down at the Wildman, ending his suffering.
"Wildmen do not deserve a life. They are naught but filthy beasts."
The corpse was dragged into Marsh waters where it was tossed into a deep end, there it shall lie forever if undisturbed.
