Belegaran's journal, Eleventh entry

Another week has passed and many a thing has happened since I last wrote in my journal. Some splendid news though many an argument as well *shakes his head with a soft laugh* First of all, both Baby Bel and Baby Lu are doing wonderful and I dare say it shan’t be long until they both start to crawl. Yule shall be here shortly and I have been working on a gift that shall be of use for both of our babies, however many of the arguments with Lu were also about Yule. Lu planned to give the babies many gifts indeed..though I felt Lu would give too many gifts as odd as that may sound. Lu is making dolls for the babies, the dolls resemble Lu and I, every worker within the Lhunmir Residence and a few friends that we know. The brought the total to eleven dolls each for the babies, yet I find that I had a good reason to disagree. Lu does not opt for cheap material as she is a tailor after all, however the material she opted to use for the rag dolls is expensive. Secondly, I do think our babies need to be spoilt but they would receive eleven dolls and add to that the gifts that I would make and the gifts that would be bought or made by our workers. I think our babies would get spoilt far too much and we would lose more coin then I would personally like. However after much arguing, Lu and I came to the same terms as far as Yule gifts for the babies. Also I am very glad to mention that Lu is with child again *gazes happily at Lu and notices that she is snoring lightly*. I shall urge Lu to have proper rest and we both agreed that I would cook dinner from now on. Also I have not neglected Lu with Yule as I am making her the gifts that she has always wanted, she has hinted towards it for many months indeed, the little cheek. *Wonders if it was a good idea to mention the gift in case Lu gets hold of his journal but shrugs the thought away with a soft laugh* On a final note, “The Jewels of Lhunmir” is doing well and we are receiving many orders. Lu and I both agreed on that Lu would be the boss of our business, so I get to call Lu my boss as well, I just hope she does not get too bossy. *chuckles softly and closes his journal with a happy sigh*
