Lefrinu didn’t take the trip to Lindon by herself. Diriana and Skrayper accompanied her back to the lands of her youth. While her parents prepared for their journey to Valinor, they declared Cerynitis as their Tûr of the House of Valehaven. They presented a set of fine leather armor that was said to be handcrafted by a Rohirrim whom the family had rescued long ago. He made it specifically for an elfin maiden who helped to care for him, but after he left her with his gift, they never heard from him again.
With the change of leadership came a change to their allies. Adreles was the first to swear his loyalties to the house and family. However, it wasn’t until much later, in the quiet of the night and in a more private setting that the elfin hunter declared his feelings to Cerynitis. His confession took the huntress by surprise, for such affections were the last thing she considered since her parents’ deaths. There was a long silence as she thought about his proposal. However, it wouldn’t be until the end of the week when she accepted his courtship…and another month of traveling together before she grew to feel for him as well.
Skrayper took the time to swear his loyalty to the House of Valehaven as well, and he too declared his undying affections for Krystic to her parents. When they approved of his proposal, he and their youngest daughter were married before the elder elves left for Valinor. Diriana swore her loyalties, excited about what tales she would tell of how the House of Valehaven would rise up in the defense of Middle Earth, just like in the days of old.
