Poem - Bed

The Dwarves they have a cold stone floor
The Elves they have the trees
But when it comes to good night's rest
A comfy bed's for me

Some blankets made from thick sheep's wool
A mattress firm and deep
A pillow stuffed with soft bird down
Is what I need to sleep

I lie beside a nice hot fire
And wrap myself up tight
The blankets reach my small cold nose
To keep me warm at night

I snuggle deep in soft white sheets
And rest my weary head
And soon I find a deep deep sleep
Inside this lush low bed

My head is filled with fine sweet dreams
My mind can wander free
A hero in a far off land
No harm will come to me

The Dwarves can keep their cold stone floor
The Elves can keep their trees
For when it comes to good night's rest
A comfy bed's for me!
