Ceou's "Empty" Journal, "Valliard and the Heirs of Ruin"

Where to begin? Today I had my hair dyed black, and was going under my Alias, Alexa. This scrawny young man approached me while I was loitering around the inn, and asked me to speak with him in private. Smething was off about him, but I went regardless. After a short chat, I found out he was of the Heirs of Ruin, and he had tracked me down, recognizing me as the Leader of the Brigands of Bree (which is true, until Blackbent comes back). How he knew, when even those who knew me in person had to take a second look? I have no idea. but he offered me and my people an alliance. Now, a few days ago, a man from the shadow blades offered me a hefty reward to help him find The heirs of ruin leader, Nalokha, and notify them as soon as I could. So I am torn between an alliance, and a heavy reward. Which will be more lucrative? Now, I am no fool. I have seen what Angmar did with their deal to the Blackwold, and I don't plan on ending up like them. But do I stand a higher chance of living when they try and destroy the city I'm in? I am in a pickle. Perhaps I should just dissappear like Michael? Or ignore them both and stay out of their affairs? I will have to talk about it with a few of my fellows. If I cross the Shadow blades we will have assassins, stationed in Bree-land after us. If I cross the Heirs, there ill be a small war between the Shadow blades, and the Red Witch. This will require careful consideration. Onto another issue, Valliard. He has a mole, I am sure of it. It isn't a high ranking person amongst us, because some of the information was inaccurate. It wasn't Vlakha, because he knew nothing of our campsite. Curalel knows too little to be the mole, and Juhryhu is far too trustworthy for me to even think. I overheard him describing me, my travel route, Blackbent, and Binras (this means that Binras isn't the mole either). He knows far too much, so I have devised two plans to bring him down. A) anonymous tips to the watch about Valliard being a thief, or lying to them B) having our men go after him Which will be more effective? I don't know yet. I have a lot on my mind. Yet, the greatest issue is still Blackbent's disappearance. I miss him. I miss him a lot.
