The last few weeks have seen me enjoy a respite since returning from the Temple complex in Nan Toreach where we faced the servants of the Angmar. My spirit has been lifted once more with Virthalion and Azgarzir taking up the mantle of Maethor, Sil in our warband. I was also pleased to see two more of the new swords give their oath to Imladris and Lord Elrond. The numbers riding with the warband has attained a good balance enabling us to tackle the many challenges laid before us by the Council of Imladris.
Soon it will be time to head into the Misty Mountains for Elisbeth has called the warband to gather in Imladris. I must speak with those of House Vanimar to gather any news I can of their recent foray into the mountains. I know they moved against the Goblins embedded in the mountain but I have not heard if they came into contact with any of the servants of Angmar.
There is also a letter that must be written in answer to the calling to attend the Third Ting, to be held in the Dwarven Stronghold. I must set quill to paper before the sun sets less my mind be distracted on other pressing matters.
Finally I must send word to the ranger that was heading into the mountains as well. He did not speak on exactly why he was heading there but out of respect I feel we should try to support this brave man where we can. Hopefully the merchants at the lower reaches of the mountains will have word of his passage.
