Angnogoth
Angnogoth "Shieldseeker"
| Name | Angnogoth |
|---|---|
| Occupation | None Currently |
| Age | Young |
| Race | Dwarf |
|---|---|
| Residence | Wanderer |
| Kinship | None |
| Outward Appearance | Like most dwarves, he has a thick beard, with fairly elegant braids, whose appreciable fashion is often not fathomed by mere Men, or Elves for that matter. But the thick brown hair spreading from his chin belies his real age, for it has grown longer than what most dwarves of his age could boast. The worry lines spreading across his cheeks and forehead do nothing to remedy this appearance, though his blue eyes still do retain the haze of youth. He is a stout fellow, the kind you might find greasy, blackened, standing before the heated forge pounding away at metal. He is thick-armed, and barrel-chested, but despite this often appears very unwieldly in combat. Aside from his facial hair, he seems to have no fashion sense, even when it comes to dwarves. He wears whatever appears to him to be the better crafted item. |

Background
Angnogoth often pretends to be a lot of things he isn't, and does not immediately care to get into matters of his past. Most embarassingly, he cannot recall his family heritage, and often resorts to call himself "Shieldseeker," to avoid his perceived impropriety at being temporarily nameless.
He also pretends to be an astute and capable fighter - there's a story there, and one he refuses to tell. Something has happened, and the depths of Moria claimed his most prized posession, a masterfully crafted shield. Thereafter, between spending his hours pounding metal at the forges, and pounding ale at the taverns, he slowly lost who he was, and what he was about, his ears never ceasing to ring with the sound of hammer on metal.
But enough about that! He seems to march to his own beat, an unknown hammering heard only to him. His incapability in battle is pretty apparent to anyone who actually gets into a scuffle alongside him. He never runs away, and he seems to learn things quickly, but it is clear that he has had fairly little real experience or training. He is also extremely proud, and will most likely never admit any of these things as being true!
