Cyfric,
Sorry it's been so long! I took a few wrong turns on the way back to Bree and, well, long story short, I only got back here a week or so ago. But what a week!
Suppose I should start off by saying that I saw Guvadan again. Briefly. Now, I know I told you I was eager to get back to him and all - and I was! - but in my time away, it seems he's found someone else. At least, I think he has. He didn't seem all that interested in talking to me or working anything out when I stumbled across him whilst I was still lost. I did ask him to find me in Bree so we could chat but he wasn't enthused, or so it seemed to me, and although I've seen him since I found my way back here, he's pretty much ignore me so...
Well anyway! The best thing ever happened to me on my first night back in town! I met a man who looked miserable - around this place pretty much everyone does, truth be told - so I took it upon myself to cheer him up, as I do. Three days later he's asking me to move in with him and now we're getting married! I know, I know, it's crazy. It's insane. We barely know each other, but this man... there's something about this man that actually makes me want to settle. I even bought a map to stop me getting lost when I'm wandering about for work purposes! I didn't want to repeat the mistake I made with Guvadan; getting lost for a year ends a relationship, apparantly, and I do not want to lose Alrewulf. Not for all the Mearas in the Mark!
I've never met anyone like him. He's a lad from home as well, so don't have to worry about arguments over whether or not we return to the Sun Lands one day. It can get a bit awkward at times because he's got an adopted sister who just so happens to be the betrothed of Seaver. Remember me telling you about him?
So, I've put my new address on the envelope; now you have to send me all the news! How is everyone? How're you? Has your dear darling wonderful wife learned to keep quiet yet? And will you come to my wedding?
All my love
Cyre Culfere
