Taken from the journal of Ralvis Grey, Greyhood of the North and Advisor of the Red Lady:
After spending many years with this man, whom I saw as a friend, I was forced to kill him out of loyalty to the lady whom I served. I received a letter through the Mistress. It read thus;
“Morgang Ogadaluth leaves all his possessions and all his coin, as well as his inherited titles, to his only known son; Ralvis.”
I have chosen to go into the wilderness, escaping this new truth and trying to find some peace and solidarity. Already I can feel myself falling into madness.
His blood is on my hands. He died by these hands, these same hands that shook his in a sign of trust. However, despite my guilt, I have stayed true to my loyalty to the Red Lady, and in that there is some comfort. I shall fullfil Morgang's dream, to aid Our Mistress in taking over these foul lands they call Eriador.
