Council of the Red Dragon

The Council of the Red Dragon is a knight order, the elite military organization in service of House Dragonhold They swore to protect all of those in need, so their duties are to fight against any evil that threatens the safety and peace of the free peoples. Their mission might go from patrolling and enforcing the safety of House Dragonhold's lands, as much as going to any battlefield their lord requires.

They were formed by Fierel Dragonhold and Damondir Aloren, in Bree. Before the founding of the Council, they both were members of the Order of Dol Amroth, but they didn't see eye to eye with the Order's methods. They wished to be more active in fighting the darkness that was falling on Bree, while the rest of the Order seemed more interested in tasty ale and pipeweed. So they decided to leave and form their own order, a responsible and honourable order, an order that focused only on helping people, regardless of their money or power.

So it began the process of bringing together people from all across Eriador. At first, the race of Men was the most present. But soon elves and dwarves, and even a few hobbits,  started joining the Order. Since then, the Council meets frequently to decide the fate of the Order, being this council represented by members of each race.

Now they keep the fight in the North, against Angmar and all their servants. They expect every strong armed men with a bit of courage to join them.
