Dear Violet,
I am writing to you from Bree and I hope the men here do know how to work a quick post properly and this letter will reach you within reasonable time. But actually I seriously doubt that - there is no quick post training whatsoever here in Breeland.
It was soooooooooooooo wonderful to see all of you again, and of course, to hold our little baby sister in my arms. She is such a sweet girl! And calling her after our mummy was a very good idea, I am glad they let little Bogo choose her name. Too bad little Amber did not wait one day longer to be born - they would have had the same birthday then.
During the last two weeks I have been on a mission with some elves from my new neighbourhood in Falathlorn. We were fighting terrible wights at a terrible place. I will not say more - just promise me to never leave the Shire except for visiting me in Falathlorn. There are places a good hobbit should never see. Me, as an elven archer - that is something different of course. I was fighting bravely and my fellow elves finally stopped smiling about me the way they used to back home. When they look at me now it is actually with something like approval in their eyes and, despite my lack of height, acceptance as one of their own. This is what I had dreamed of for years! I feel so elvish now!
I will write to you as soon as I am back in Falathlorn, and then you are very welcome to visit me - and whoever of our brothers and sisters wants to come, too. I have a large elvish bed that is big enough for several of us. Sometimes it is an advantage to be tiny.
Take care, all of you!
Love!
Your sister Miwia
