Instead of a backstory, I'll give you a full family history.

The Brandyvine family of Fallohide hobbits was never very large until recent times, and though it is rumored that it may have been a splinter family of the Brandybucks, this rumor is incorrect, though some of the Brandyvine family members actually believe it, and wonder why they never get a share whenever a famous and rich Brandybuck Dies and leave inheritance for the entire Brandybuck family. 

In addition, the family is notable for a somewhat unique trait amongst hobbits: they mingle with all sorts and have a horrible reputation for wedding hobbits of Stoor or Harfoot lineage. Fortunately for the sake of the family's sanity, it seems that for whatever reason the Fallohide side is dominant when it comes to offspring, and thus the majority of the family remains wholly Fallohide, at least appearance wise. 

Family tree/short info spill for each member is as follows:

Founder(s): Gunmund (Male) - The founder name and tale given in the family archives is Gunmund, who was born to a nameless family, and earned his family's new name by growing a hybrid Honeysuckle that tasted somewhat like brandy. || Connie (Female) - The co-founder of the Brandyvine Family, she was Gunmund's wife, who was the one who successfully perfected the "Brandy-vine" hybrid honeysuckle while her husband was preoccupied with his duties. 

Oldest Living Member: Puca (Female) - Bria's Great-great-grandmother, Great-great-granddaughter of the founding couple of Gunmund and Connie. Current head of the family, and the one who manages the family funds. Can often be found visiting her family members, despite her old age. Generally loved by everyone in the family, with few exceptions. 

Next Head-of-Family: Hartman (Male) - Puca's son. Has taken up gardening to attempt to re-find the legendary "Perfect Brandy-vine", and has been mildly successful. Very worried for his mother in her old age.

Prominent Members: Bertram (Male) - Bria's father, Hartman's nephew, and next after Hartman to receive the head-of-family title. His wife's name is Brer. Though He married a Harfoot he has received very little backlash, mostly due to the commonalty of it in the family. || Bunnie (Female) - Bertram's younger sister, first female born in the main family after Puca's birth. Bria succeeded her in this rarity. || Oberon - (Male) Bertram's younger Brother. Lives outside the shire, but not by much. || Bria (Female) - The only female born into in the main family not named after a Lagomorph, due to being named by her mother. She hopes to aspire to great things.
