Our war has begun #1

It was a warm Mede afternoon in the town of Bree, the washing was hung, the beggars were begging and the craftsmen crafting. As I, Emreg, son of Stadleth made my way down the few steep, cobbled hills of the town, the rattling of chain mail, the drawing of swords and the hooves of horses could he heard bellowing from the West gate of Bree.

As I approached the growing group of Rohirric men and women I begun, finally to realize that the group were serious about heading South, to war. I arrived, wearing my grand armor, making certain that I stood out from the crowds, my broadsword was sure to have raised a few brows, never has there been a more finally crafted blade, the hilt as cold and as beautiful as any a sword in the West.

I recognized few faces amongst the armored and armed crowd, though Bella's lackey, Antlos did catch my eye, he wore the crudest of armor, his blade was simple...Although unused to my eye. I slowly but surely made my way to the front of the crowd, many a man scattered to the side as I rode in on my newly armored steed, dismounting as I reached the front of the crowds, I took the reins of my steed in hand as I patiently awaited the arrival of the, "Captain." I nodded to the seldom known person as I waited in the midst of the rabble, turning, twisting uncomfortably the whole time in my mail. I exchanged few words with Eorran by the stables as we waited and waited, and waited.

Finally the Captain had arrived, introducing himself as Captain Aueryll during his short speech, quite inspiring to say the least. Shortly after we were commanded to split ourselves into groups, myself taking lead of five trusty, well worked lads.

Now that the groups had been set and the leaders named, we set onward to the fields to the North, about a quarter days ride we arrived at a prominent looking fields, space and shelter were available. I made no mistake of sitting idly around as others got to work, I set my lads out to the fields in search of scarecrows to use as targets and others to collect wood for fires. I myself went about setting up a few tents to the North side of the field. Now that this day is over and we have finally left Bree in time we can focus on the journey South, to war...
