Dear Violet,
Thank you so much for your long and inspiring letter! It took a while for it to reach me though, since I moved again. Yesterday I went back to the Shire and paid a visit to Master Brockhouse who had kept your letter for me all the time. He told me my old burrow in Bramblebury was rented to a hobbit lad the same day I moved out.
So, now you know it, I have left the Shire. Although Michel Delving is a very interesting place, swarming with hobbits and travellers passing through, I did not meet many fellow elves. So I decided to move on and went to Falathlorn. It is actually not that far away. From Michel Delving you go North, pass through Needlehole and there you are, in the elven lands. It is almost the same way as from our home in Woodhall to the Greenfields. I hope our parents will allow you to visit me here, too. My new address is written on the envelope.
And here finally I meet many many other elves! I feel like I have come to the right place. Some of them do smile about my size and my little bow, but I am prepared to practice hard and become the best archer they have ever seen. One day I have to prove myself in the Golden Woods!
I am glad our mummy is feeling better. Great to hear we are getting another little brother or sister! I will come to visit you in Woodhall as soon as the baby is there. Make sure to send me a letter immediately! My, we will be 15 brothers and sisters then!
I miss all of you, even pesky little Bogo. Aw, he is going to be five soon. Maybe the new baby will choose to come on his birthday?
Take care, all of you!
Love!
Your sister Miwia
