Outward Appearance

A tall, imposing Sindar elf of great age and fell aspect. His eyes are cold and hard and terrible. His skin is ivory pale, his hair is a dusky silver white... His voice is deep and sonorous, lacking the lilting melodic tones more commonly associated with elvish folk.
His garb is somber and threadbare in shades of grey and black with infrequent silver highlights.
His armour and greatsword are of ancient design and made from some curiously dark alloy.
Gloom surrounds him like a vapour and the shades of twilight follow him like a cloak...

Background

Ancient is he who watched the first rising of the moon. Great, his longing for times long past and Realms now lost.

Friend of old was he to the Dwarves of Belegost and Nogrod.
Long is his memory and cold is his heart toward the Noldor... He, that searched for his Lord and found him long years after... Bones beneath the Caragdur...

While other elves walk, radiant under starlight, he wanders forever 'neath the dismal eaves of Nan Elmoth...

His seal bears the emblem of a gnarled tree and cresent moon.
To Cirdan of Mithlond, who knows him and the hidden isle of Tol Dem better than most, he is Ringlin, the cold glance.
