An Unexpected Market

Come one and all to this month’s Unexpected Market! This is a RP market event that will be a bit different than the usual Dwarven Caravan Markets that Durin’s Folk hosts. Once a month there will be an Unexpected Market in which the Dwarves of Durin’s Folk decide to host it in a surface-dwelling settlement without any prior warning to the local authorities. This market wouldn’t be unexpected if the local authorities knew what was coming and were able to prepare in advance for a rambunctious company of unruly Dwarves!

Come join the merchants of Bree-land as they bicker endlessly over trivial matters in the Merchant’s Guild Council Meeting. The Merchant’s Guild is an advisory body to the Mayor and as such has no real, direct political power. So the Mayor will likely discard or ignore the majority of petitions sent to him by the Merchant’s Guild. But the fun of political RP is in the process, not the results!
