Journal #3 - The stars above

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary
Isn't it strange that even though we're so far away from home, the stars still are the same? I know when I was little I thought going far away would mean everything was going to be different, even the grass, the trees and the sky. But the same stars are above me here, in the wilderness of Bree-land, as on the fields in the Mark. There is Ægil the hunter, and Eärendil shines bright as ever in the morning hours. Witimanu walks under the same sun, sleeps under the same moon.

Well I will never cease to be amazed and no mistake! Today I was exercising Witimanu on the town meadow, when I heard the language of my own kindred. It seems Béma heard my prayers, if He ever listens to anyone.

Journal #1 - A wretched hive

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

After weeks of crossing the wilderness, we have finally reached Bree.
What a sad little town.
I think Father also thought of something else when he spoke of the place. Or when those strangers spoke of it, that time in Aldburg.
The streets are narrow, lined with small round stones that hurt our horses' feet, and it stinks. The people are mean and their eyes speak of fear. They have not the pride of men of the Mark.
But how could it be different, here in the middle of the wilderness?
