Outward Appearance

Bellowyn is a shifty looking figure, preferring to go hooded when she can. If she pulls her ever-present hood down, though, the first things you would notice are her shocking blue eyes. She is an outwardly pretty girl. One thing that is always with her is a silver locket, the most valuable thing she owns.

Bell tends to dress in comfortable yet practical clothes. She simply doesn't have the money for fancy dresses and finery, so she makes the best of what she has. She will usually have her travel pack with her, containing flint, a small tinder box, a back-up knife, and a roll of bandages along with a few other items essential to wilderness survival. Her hair is a light blonde shade, ending just bellow her shoulders. She doesn't put her hair up that often, only on special occassions.

Background

Bellowyn was born on a cold winter day in a small, poor village in Rohan. Her parents, like the rest living in this shabby town, were desperate to earn any money they could in order to feed their four hungry children. They farmed, mended clothes, did laundry, and did any other odd jobs just to make ends meet. Having lived with three older brothers, Bell grew up fast and learned quickly, as was required in this living condition. When she was only ten, she began venturing into town to pick pockets, just to earn a little extra money.

She taught herself to survive on her own, and eventually left her small home with two of her brothers, the third stayed to look after their parents. They travelled a long way, heading east, until they reached a mountain range. The nights had grown colder with each passing day, and already Bell and her brothers had grown desperate. One chilly night, while the three siblings were sleeping, wolves spied their camp. The wolves attacked just past midnight, silently killing one of Bell's brothers. She and her brother fought the wolves bravely, but it wasn't enough. The wolves eventually managed to catch her brother off guard, killing him instantly. Bell managed to escape, but not without a long, jagged cut in her left leg.

Lost, tired and alone, Bell wandered the foot of the mountain for one full day. She was found lying motionless on the ground by a group of hunters. Suprisingly, these were the same hunters who had helped her escape from guards back in Rohan. When she awoke, they informed her that her parents and last remaining brother had been killed by a plague passing through the village.

These experiences left her defeated inside. Once, she was a spirited and joyfull girl. Bell has lost some of her happiness in life that will never be regained, but she isn't as empty of glee as her mentor, Jazilin. Bell is always shy, but opens up after a bit of conversation, though she is always on guard.

She most enjoys fishing early in the morning, either checking her nets or fishing with a rod. This is her favorite passtime, and it also gives her food. She is most happy when she is casting her line into the water, and esspecially joyful when she gets a big fish!
