The Diary of Eodryth

I have never owned a diary before, however on discovering this virtually empty book of one of my less fortunate companions and with no word of my absence back home, if my fate is to be a dark one at least my loved ones will have some kind of idea what has become of me. It all started months ago, I was scouting through Bree-Land, slaying Orcs, beasts and Wildmen upon discovering them, when I came across a parchment of what I understood to be the plans of the enemy's assault on the Mines of Moria. I rode Nimithil as fast as she could to warn the Dwarves that dwell within the mines but it was too late, there were bodies lying all around, some Orc, some Goblin, some Dwarf, even some men, it was an utterly dark sight. I was forced into the mines by a vile creature that lay beneath the pool outside of the gates, in my panic I have fled deep within the mountain and am now lost. There was a party of dwarves that I ran into but a rock slide killed most of them and separated me from the rest......I just want to be back in Bree, back with Eoryn and Cymaru.....I do miss Cym, her smile used to be all I needed if I were ever feeling down. It is a shame, she'll have probably found someone else by now, I just cannot seem to keep my nose out of trouble and be there for those that I love! I hope they're both alright, I'm sure they.......I must leave you now Diary, for I have just heard a deep, rocky bellow of which I know can only come from one creature whom I thought did not exist, until next time....if there is one!
