Lost

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The screams and shouts of a room overfilled with children kept her awake and grumpy. Since arriving to Minas Tirith, Céolswith had not found sleep. Her pockets of coin were also low, since being a foreigner did not help with finding work. All in all, her first few days in Stoningland were tiresome and full of rejection. Her patience was waning due to the noise and she was tired of eating old bread. She closed her eyes, curled up in a corner. Thoughts of the months prior came back to her, forcing her to reconsider her decision to run from home again.

The Long Watch

Story

Régnwald peered through the red dusk. Heavy-shod hooves left great marks in the ground as the armoured beast carried it's burden toward the foot of the cliffs; albeit 'twas not the renowned horse of the warrior, but a destrier that belonged to one of his fallen kin. His eyes wandered soundlessly whilst the horse pawed at the ground impatiently. Soon his eyes landed upon the elderly man, Inrweald, bowing at a slight.

''Leave me some ya maggots!'' a foul voice laced.

''I saw it first, the limbs are MİNE!'' hissed the other orc.

''I was the one to shoot it, so stay back or find your guts in a dish.''

A heavy kick knocked the fighting orc, the brute approached then ''Hurry up boys, this is breakfast, eat or you'll have your own flesh in the menu.'' he roared then, casting a scanning look around with his yellow-eyes.

Dawn's Gloom

Up on the faint horizon, iron-shod hooves clipping cobble heralded the Horselord's arrival long before he rounded the gentle bend in the path. The man himself sat high in Gramlic's saddle. Adorned in a fine mail coat that was covered with a black surcoat. A brooch of intricate swirls fastened a weather-beaten cloak across broad shoulders. After a few long moments, he brought the beast to a pause nigh to river.

A Dubious Message

Story

The coming dawn had painted the sky into a crimson splendour albeit still it was dark, and a gust of chilly wind entered through the cave the Eorlings camped in. As Régnwald reached the entrance, he hailed the guards and exchanged a few words with them. The night watch always had a fire running just outside the cave, and there were still red glowing embers shining brightly in the midst of the ashes. There were also plenty of dry firewood left, so he sat down by the fire and carefully placed a few smaller twigs and logs in the midst of the still glowing embers.

Sharp Words and Matters of Sword-work

Régnwald walked to a high ground to better see the settled camp in the cave, looking toward the loose collection of tents until he spotted Cynebur. First he hesitated to approach, but then he broke that quiet ''You couldn't sleep just like me?'' his pale eyes brimmed with the air of an answer already known.

Régnwald grunted, his armour matching it with a groan. Leaning forward, but not so much to leave the warmth of the spot he had settled on, he stirred the pot that hung from it's tripod above a weak fire. The flame, nestled in it's firepit, sent smoke in tendrils, snaking about the cauldron.

Werendor stepped outside, soon surprised by a couple of children who seemed to have followed him. He turns to them to scold them, with the few words he can muster in Rohirric and urge them to get back inside.

At a crossroads

Cynebur stayed alerted while keeping guard at inner side of the cave, her shield was limply held with left arm and her other hand was resting on hilt of her sword. Shieldmaiden kept her eyes closed as if she was resting while standing.
