Keeping an eye on the borderlands to Imladris relies upon working with some of menkind such as the rangers. Communication is often done through the use of hidden runes and signs left for both parties.

Ancient Fortress of Ost Guruth

Story

Ruadan found himself at the ancient fortress of Ost Guruth a once great fortress of the Rhudaur located in the area menfolk referred to as the Lone Lands. The Urch he encountered were easily to avoid they were lesser minded than their stronger relatives found to the east.

He climbed the steep steps to the gateway and entered though the archway to await upon the other of his folk who due here soon.

The secret refuge of Esteldin

Once a great stronghold build upon the town of Dolindîr in ages past, this old fortress of what once was the great kingdom of Arnor is now nothing more then a worn out ruin, forgotten by time itself and hidden within the many hills and mountains surrounding it.
Its very existence is just a legend amongst common men, but it does really exist!


Here, the Dunedain of the North, who have been known as rangers by common folk, have set up their hidden camp to fight against the ever growing evil of Angmar.

Hunting at midnight

What kind of Adventure is this?: 
Story

This story took place decades ago. It gives a description of the first time Dínenor was hunting trolls amongst other Dúnedain out in the Trollshaws. The story could be roughly known to rangers originating from the northern Trollshaws.

Dínenor looks up to the sky. It is full of clouds, the moon shafts sparsely through the leaves of the trees. The only light in the deep of the night is coming from three torches.

Once they arrived at Esteldin, the rain had stopped and the morning sun was shining through the grey clouds. The rangers trudged up the muddy path to the hidden stronghold, dragging the heavy bound orc with them.

Ivorneth fired at the crowd of orcs, moving with the other two archers to find better positions as the fight swirled. They aimed carefully, not wanting to hit one of their own men.
