The broom kicked up dust as the hapless girl swept the stairs leading to the second floor of the Huntsman and Stag. Hair in her face, she continued to work as her grim thoughts tormented her.
Working full time at Egfor's inn, The Huntsman And the Stag, Eira finds that she enjoys the work. So far, the days have been slow. She would mostly clean and take care of the animals outside; though she also cooked for the few travelers whom entered. In one of the rooms, an injured man was kept and treated by visiting doctors. She supplied the gentle foods needed for him and looked after the doctors when Egfor and Demlemoth were not.
Taking the suggestions of those of the Prancing Pony, Eira decided to take a journey down the Greenway, from the town of Bree to Hengstacer Farm. Of course, with her troubled past and disliking trouble, she took the journey by night. It was thankfully uneventful, and the girl could enjoy some fine scenery on the walk. Her cat, Fisher, trailed along. Along the river beside the Greenway, he managed to catch a nice fish for his late dinner.
Deep in the hilly forests of Emyn Uial, Eira decides to stop running and simply enjoys the serenity of nature. The waterfall refreshes her, clenses her, as she breaths in her new life as a different person. She was born and raised here, despite never being here before. She was lost here, but it was her home. She smiled and the waters bathed her. This was Eira. She was Eira. Eira was home.
