Still running. Always running. Running from the shadow that kept tracking her down. Running… running… until her exhausted feet took her to a settlement called Bree, in the land once known as Arnor. She stumbled into the inn, exhausted and worn down. She had hoped to be ignored, yet found surprisingly pleasant company that evening.

"At the top of the stairs, turn left and go three doors on your right. There is a bed, desk, candle, basin, storage chest, chair, and you have a small window that looks onto the courtyard. If you are cold it is best to keep it closed, or if you do not like the smell of horse."
Upon arriving at the Prancing Pony, she met by the server Ristiinna, or Ris, and her loyal canine Suojelija. She found out Ris was also from a foreign land to Bree and found a small connection with another person. She bought a room for two days thus far, then watched Ris depart.

"It is time for me to take Suojelija for a walk and then to my room, miss, but I hope I will see you again."
After this, a cheery man named Egfor engaged her in further conversation. "Don't think I caught your name, miss. I'm Egfor!"
Tacita had responded to him with her own Gondorian name. Egfor also offered his own inn, if she came by the area. Now, it was known that a woman named Tacita Icewold was in Bree. Yet, for how long? …
Under the surface purpose of studying the ruins of Arnor in depth, the pale woman began her stay in Bree-land. Yet, the under purpose drove her deeply as well - escape from the shadows of her past. Hunting… hunting her… She had run as far north as she could. Perhaps, Bree would be the refuge she sought.
