Badhor split his hoof since I cleaned his hooves l just a few days ago. It doesn't seem to cause him pain, but I dare not aggravate it and make the crack worse than it is. I've spoken to the Imladris Ferrier and he's agreed it's not bad and should mend well given upkeep and time. All the same I'll be extending my stay in Imladris to give the crack in his hoof time to mend.
This will give me a little time to rest. As of late I've found my mind harried by worries and old bitterness. Staying a little longer to set myself right for the journey back to Lothlorien can be forgiven I hope.
