The Shadow Walkers: There And Back Again

After Katrandil was mostly healthy, our three friends made their way out of Forochel and went back to Evendim. They camped in Parth Aduial, in the High King's Crossing, where some other rangers had also camped.

[This is also where Ornessar saw The Unpleasant Dream. More about it can be found in http://laurelinarchives.org/node/39111]

They did not stay there for long. Suoma was quite impatient, wanting to see her home once again. Ornessar promised her he would take her to Rivendell after their journey ends, so she would see Bilbo Baggins, a very queer hobbit. And so they did. They got ready, and with the help of some rangers, they made their way into the Shire unwounded - since some Orcs of Angmar made their way into Parth Aduial. Those were the orcs Ornessar had seen in his dream.

When they reached the Shire, Suoma looked very happy. Knowing her way there, like an adventurous hobbit, she showed her friends the quickest way to Stock and Buckland, where she lived. They stayed in her house for one day, and then she took some provisions and our three friends started riding towards the Redstable, the secret location where The Red Company lived. After attending a small meeting there, they made their way to the Trollshaws. This time, Ornessar was leading the group.

They camped in the Stone Trolls' glade. There Katrandil strayed away from the group and was wounded by the poisoned arrow of an Angmarim. Ornessar found her, and she carried her and Suoma to Bar-en-Ornessë in Rivendell. He and his family took good care of Katrandil for quite some time until she became healthy again. Then, he told his son to help Suoma go back home, and so he did.
