A wealthy woman by the name of Lady Hughes came in today, and attempted to offer a deal with the watch which involved us ignoring her hired Sellswords as they target folk of beggars alley or those Lady Hughes deems a threat.
I promptly Declined. It could've been considered Bribery, as she offered pay for ignoring these acts. But I didn't think it wise to attempt an arrest at the moment with such little evidence to show.
This may include killings, Beatings, Torture, I'm not quite sure of the matter and have no evidence to support my suspicions. She was quite fumed. I suggest all Watchers to be on alert as I suspect her Sellswords might be paying us a visit at some point to show us the full extent of her anger.
I also want you to keep a watchful eye on the folk in Bree, we won't allow these Sellswords to continue this injustice.
